Hi Parents,

We have finished our first week of afternoon practices. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's swim progress! 

Meet Sign-ups:

Good news - our swim meets sign-up is OPEN. All sign-ups are due the Thursday before the meet by noon. Please indicate your availability whether you can come or not. When RSVPing, please sign up for volunteer jobs. We cannot run a meet without volunteers. One person per family must sign up to volunteer for each meet your child(ren) is/are attending. Our first meet is at home on Tuesday, May 27 vs. Briarwood. Signups are due on Thursday, May 22. Our coaches are pumped to bring back meet themes this year. This meet's theme is Red, White and Blue USA! So come with your favorite red, white and blue gear! 

A few reminders: 

- Saturday, May 17 9am-10am (ish) first swim clinic - these are one on one 30 lessons with a coach to work on specific skills.

• We will assign coaches and swimmers based on availability.
• Cost is $10 per half hour instruction -please bring ca$h
• First come, first serve with a wait list until all are served.

- Monday May 19, Time Trials - During the regular age group practice times, we will time all swimmers in all the events for their age groups (that they are able to do) so we can have a basis to set up meets. Once your child finishes their races, they can leave so practice may not last the entire time that it usually does. 

- Thursday, May 22, RSVP due for home Swim Meet vs Briarwood on Tuesday, May 27. The meet starts at 5:30 with warmups at 4:30pm. Please reach out with questions. 

We understand that there are still other sports, tryouts, end of year and family activities. We just ask that you attend practice as often as possible. We are continuously evaluating practice groups to make sure that we have the right balance of coaches and swimmers.
